Timeline

Nalesso’s history goes back to the early ’80s when Armando Nalesso and his wife Dina opened an upholstery workshop in Padua, in Italy’s Northeast, founding a business focused on handcrafted quality and personalization.

1980s

The company earned a reputation as one of the go-to ateliers for custom furniture. As the second generation joined the business, the customer base grew, seeing orders come in from both the domestic and international markets.

1990s

The third generation saw Nalesso strengthen its focus on the contract market. The company was now collaborating with leading luxury brands and designing custom interiors for boutiques and hotels across the globe.

2000s

An integrated structure and a solid network of suppliers meant Nalesso could offer a comprehensive and detailed service. Nalesso entered the American market, setting up its New York branch; the Spazio Nalesso showroom was opened in Padua’s old city centre.

2010s

With ongoing investments in people and technologies, Nalesso evolved into an end-to-end partner, offering design, production, installation and after-sales support for custom projects in the high-end contract market.

2020s
