An exclusive private members’ club in the heart of Milan designed to accommodate the unpredictable and the unexpected. We have custom made all the furniture for The Wilde, strictly following the guidelines set out by the client and the creative team led by Fabrizio Casiraghi.
The newly christened “The Wilde” is a private club due to open in Milan in Autumn 2024, located between Via Montenapoleone and Via Turati and housed in the former Santo Versace building. Four floors will be home to restaurants, cocktail bars, lounges, gardens and a rooftop bar.
The brand-new The Wilde is a home-grown take on the members-only club, a traditionally British institution. With its pioneering model, this project — featured in Pambianco, Il Sole 24 Ore and other leading Italian publications — introduces the city of Milan to a fresh new hospitality concept.
We were engaged by international procurement firm Benjamin West London, who handled all the FF&E and OS&E purchasing on behalf of the owners.
Being approached by a firm of this standing is a real point of pride for us. They recognized our ability to produce a superior product and deal with a client of such high calibre. They placed their trust in us, acting as the middleman during the early quoting and drawing-sharing stages, before putting us in direct touch with the client and Paris-based architect Fabrizio Casiraghi.
This commission involved the production of over 200 different items. More specifically, we are handling the production of pieces such as casegoods, chairs, armchairs, sofas, tables and occasional tables, for both interiors and outdoor spaces. In addition to upholstered furniture, we are also making all the interior window coverings to be installed across the four floors.
Specially printed Trevira CS fabrics are being used for the upholstery. The products will then be certified to Class 1.IM to meet the required fire-resistance standards.
We are working to the prescribed timeframes and deadline, and will then handle the delivery and installation on site. We can’t wait to see the end result and are delighted to have been involved in a project of this calibre.
